What Is Nutritional Therapy
Foundational Support Where It’s Needed Most
Gut issues, sleeplessness, dehydration, inflammation, feeling drained, energy spikes and crashes, high stress, lack of movement or motivation, emotional trauma…
Does any of this sound familiar? If so, you have come to the right place. Nutritional therapy brings balance and support back into your life by identifying the key issues that may be getting in the way of you being your best self. We will work together to systematically assess each of your body’s systems to identify any nutritional deficiencies. These deficiencies are then addressed through a nutrient-dense whole foods diet, therapeutic supplementation, and guided lifestyle changes. And then, true healing begins!
Bio-Individuality: Your Needs, Your Healing, Your Way
Bio-individuality is the idea that every one of us is different. Our nutritional needs change constantly, day-to-day, even minute-to-minute. There is no one-size-fits-all approach that works for everyone which is why determining your own specific needs is so important. Through the evaluation of your prior health history, current life demands, and use of the hands-on functional evaluation, nutritional therapy provides a holistic, evidence-based, and truly personalized approach to your health and healing. No stone will be left unturned and no detail is too small or random. Everything you feel is a clue given by your body. Unlike most of your doctors, I become an investigator on your healthcare team and will learn “you.”

Nutritional therapy work can be done virtually! You will get one 60-minute session which includes:
a thorough review of your prior health history
a nutritional health questionnaire
analysis of your questionnaire results
a thorough set of nutritional and lifestyle recommendations, including supplements
This package does not include the in-person functional exam or thorough diet evaluation.
Plan and Implement
After completion of the initial or comprehensive intake*, I will have you complete a food and mood journal, and in conjunction with your functional evaluation data, I will provide you with:
Two 30-minute sessions with me
a thorough set of nutritional and lifestyle recommendations, including potentially beneficial nutrient supplements
food sourcing tips
reference information and key implementation tips to make sure recommendations fit your lifestyle
completion of an updated nutritional questionnaire to compare to your initial one
The beauty of this work is you will not be left alone struggling to make changes – I am there!
*Initial or comprehensive intake required
Comprehensive Intake
Prior to this appointment, you will complete an initial intake covering your health history as well as a thorough health questionnaire. No stone will go unturned and no detail is unimportant. After a brief follow-up, I will perform the functional evaluation with you in person to get real-time data from your body about which systems may be experiencing stress. We then test a variety of supplements to see which work best to reduce that stress so you walk away with direct knowledge of how best to support your body. 3 hours.
Follow-Ups
This follow-up is recommended one month after you begin nutritional therapy. We will use this time to make sure you are on the right track, make additional changes to your protocol (if necessary), or advance you to the next step of your therapy. We will also troubleshoot any issues you may be having (lack of compliance, lack of motivation, trouble sourcing ingredients, still exhibiting symptoms, etc.) 50 minute and 30 minute appointments available.
Flex Time
You choose! Flex time can include: accompanying you to the grocery store to guide you in making food swaps and healthier choices; time spent in your home sorting through your pantry and discarding items that no longer serve your health goals; in-home cooking demonstrations; video or phone time; you decide! 60 minutes.
